Patricia Harris, CEO of TEC Receives Award
Join us in congratulating our CEO, Patricia
Harris, and The Edge Connection!
Patricia was honored by receiving the Influential Woman Atlanta
Outstanding Leadership Award at a Breakfast hosted by Women About
Biz and the Influential Woman Atlanta Executive Committee on
Wednesday, September 26, 2007. In addition, she was invited to serve
on the United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta Board of Directors in the
prominent position of Agency Liaison. In this position, Patricia
will represent the interests of more than 600 agencies across the
Metro Atlanta Area. Congratulations, Patricia!
Adopt-A-Business fundraising is in full swing.
Introduced at the Awards Gala last April,
Adopt-A-Business will help grow The Edge Connection and help even
more businesses across the State of Georgia to succeed. Individuals,
business owners, community partners, and corporate representatives

10th Year Celebration and Awards Gala
The Edge is currently gearing up for our 10th
Year Celebration and Awards Gala, which is being moved from April to
November 1st in 2008. It will be held at the Marriott Marquis in
downtown Atlanta. The Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers are
diligently planning to ensure this celebration is one for the record
books. Last year’s gala was featured in Diversity Edge Magazine
earlier this year. Be sure to check out their article and other
