Kennesaw State University has been an integral collaborative partner since the inception of our organization in 1997. KSU provides the space, facilities, technology and support that allow us to provide our programs and services to residents of Cobb County and the greater Metro Atlanta Area.
The Business Marketing Association of Atlanta has engaged with The Edge Connection for our annual business plan competition in which Edge clients compete for a chance to be matched with a team of BMA professionals for six months to implement a business development and marketing strategy. Teams compete for a top prize based on impact, creativity, and generated revenue.
Cobb Works helps individuals find stable employment. Through the Workforce Investment Act, Cobb Works’ clients are able to participate in Edge Connection programs at no cost.
MUST Ministries understands the unique needs of the individuals they serve. As a collaborative partner, MUST supports clients who have aspirations of business ownership by connecting them with The Edge Connection. While MUST provides housing stability and ensures nutritional needs are met, The Edge Connection provides educational and entrepreneurial resources to assist individuals with developing and owning their own businesses.
Briggs & Associates helps individuals with barriers to employment. Entrepreneurship has been proven to be a viable option for those who may need flexibility or have social, emotional, developmental, or physical barriers to traditional employment. Through our collaborative arrangement, clients go through Briggs and Associates programs at minimal to no cost and have consistently shown that they can become financially independent and actively contribute to their communities.
