Collaboration is crucial to the success of The Edge Connection and our clients. To ensure our clients’ needs are addressed holistically and to ensure that they are given every opportunity for success, we leverage relationships with individuals and organizations to provide additional resources and support.
Please take a moment to learn about our highly valued collaborative partners:
Kennesaw State University has been an integral collaborative partner since the inception of our organization in 1997. KSU provides the space, facilities, technology and support that allow us to provide our programs and services to residents of Cobb County and the greater Metro Atlanta Area.
The Business Marketing Association of Atlanta has engaged with The Edge Connection for our annual business plan competition in which Edge clients compete for a chance to be matched with a team of BMA professionals for six months to implement a business development and marketing strategy. Teams compete for a top prize based on impact, creativity, and generated revenue.
Cobb Works helps individuals find stable employment. Through the Workforce Investment Act, Cobb Works’ clients are able to participate in Edge Connection programs at no cost.
Enactus, at Kennesaw State University, administers coaching and tutoring of Edge Connection clients in a wide variety of areas. Enactus is an international non-profit organization that works with leaders in business and higher education to mobilize university students to make a difference in their communities while developing the skills to become socially responsible business leaders.
The Edge Connection and St. Vincent de Paul have a cooperative partnership to expand and increase accessibility of our programming to the Atlanta market. St. Vincent de Paul provides meeting and facilitation space in southeast Atlanta and, in turn, The Edge Connection hosts a computer lab out of this same location for the convenience of both St. Vincent de Paul and Edge Connection members.
MUST Ministries understands the unique needs of the individuals they serve. As a collaborative partner, MUST supports clients who have aspirations of business ownership by connecting them with The Edge Connection. While MUST provides housing stability and ensures nutritional needs are met, The Edge Connection provides educational and entrepreneurial resources to assist individuals with developing and owning their own businesses.
Briggs & Associates helps individuals with barriers to employment.
