Exploring Entrepreneurship
Register
Exploring Entrepreneurship
is designed for anyone interested in becoming an
entrepreneur who has not yet started a business. This
six-hour class helps you answer three major questions:
Should I go into business? What kind of business should I
start? How can I test my business idea? Participants will
leave this class knowing whether entrepreneurship is a good
personal fit and they will possess the tools and resources
to research the viability of a business idea and complete a
feasibility study.
Prerequisite:
None. Apply for services and register for the class. This
low-cost class is open to everyone who registers on a first
come first serve basis.
Plan for Profit
Register
Plan for Profit
is a 12-week business development program that combines
business development training, economic literacy training,
and entrepreneurial life skills/leadership training.
Participants learn the necessary skills and discipline to
perform essential business functions such as marketing
research, business planning, and financial planning.
Life skills training component provides
participants with knowledge, skills, and confidence to
effectively deal with the stressors of society and the
responsibility of becoming a successful entrepreneur.
To graduate, each participant must complete a business plan.
Enrollment Requirements:
To qualify for this class, you must either be in
business or have completed our introductory class, Exploring
Entrepreneurship, and have completed a feasibility plan.
Class admission is limited and competitive.
