Put Your Business on the Internet
 Register

Through the Put Your Business on the Internet Program, entrepreneurs learn how to develop Web content, launch a Web site, use email as a correspondence and marketing tool, and utilize the Internet to maximize opportunity for marketing and sales. New businesses are enhanced and clients gain the skills to compete in today’s global economy.

The Internet opens a new world of opportunity for marketing and commerce. Many small companies are able to appear larger by using an impressive Web presence. Online shopping provides convenient, fast transactions, and cost savings in retail space and overhead. Web sales enable micro-entrepreneurs to grow businesses through several channels simultaneously, creating opportunities for incremental revenue. No longer constrained by available funds to rent office space, entrepreneurs can compete with the global economy in the sales of goods and services. In addition, entrepreneurs learn the use of email correspondence, resulting in savings of time, effort, and money.
