Developing Your Family Child Care Business Training

Developing Your Family Child Care Business Training™ is a 12-week, 72-hour business development program that covers business development training, economic literacy training, and entrepreneurial life skills/leadership training, with a specialization in developing a child care business.  

Participants learn the necessary skills and discipline to perform essential business functions such as marketing research, business planning, and financial planning.

Life Skills/Personal Effectiveness Training Classes are held at The Center for Family Resources.  The life skills component provides participants with knowledge, skills, and confidence to effectively deal with the stressors of society and the responsibility of becoming a successful entrepreneur.

To graduate, each participant must complete a business plan.

Enrollment Requirements
To qualify for this class, you must either be in business or have completed our introductory class, Exploring Entrepreneurship, and have completed a feasibility plan. Class admission is limited and competitive.


Child Development Associate (CDA) Training

Are you ready to become a more valued teacher and/or to improve the quality of care provided in your center? We offer the 120 hours of training required to achieve your CDA recognition.
