Atlanta Business Chronicle
If you are starting or managing a
business in the Atlanta Metro area, you should subscribe to
the paper or electronic version of the Atlanta Business
Chronicle. This publication is a remarkably thorough weekly
record of business activity in Atlanta. They provide
information on all levels of business, large and small. They
also send out up-to-the-minute email newsletters. The
Chronicle is highly recommended. We subscribe. Copies are
available in our resource room/library.

Association for Enterprise Opportunity (AEO)
The
Association for Enterprise Opportunity (AEO) was founded in
1991and remains the only national member-based association
dedicated to microenterprise development. AEO provides its
members with the collective means to promote enterprise
opportunity for people and communities with limited access
to economic resources. AEO also represents the U.S.
microenterprise agenda in the growing international

If you're doing research for a
business plan, or you're interested in what is happening on
the legislative side of things, this site has some good
statistics and links to other online resources where you can
find useful info about small businesses. It is the website
for the Senate Committee on Small Businesses and
Entrepreneurship. You can find information about the latest
hearings, roundtables, forums, and publications. You can
even contact the committee and address your questions to
